About COBE
Central Oregon Builders Exchange Planroom opened
for business in 1979. Our mission is to offer a full-service planroom while meeting the
progressing Hi-Tech needs of our members. Services offered by COBE include:
Plans on file, location, scope of work,
bid date/time, planholders, and bid results. Permits issued for the Cities of Bend,
Redmond, Sisters, Prineville & Madras and Deschutes, Crook & Jefferson Counties
(residential/commercial). Information includes the permit number, address of construction,
type of construction, value of project, contractor name/phone, owner name/address.

- Planroom Facility including: Project drawings,
specification books, addenda, bidding information, and document checkout. Workstations
with access to telephone, calculators, scales, pencils, and notebooks. Access to various
publications pertaining to the construction industry. Fax, photocopy, and large format
digital reproduction services.
- Internet Plan Center featuring: Online project drawings,
specifications, addenda, and planholders. FastBid for viewing and estimating. Project
information via our website updated several times daily. Drawing and document reproduction
service.
- Annual Membership Directory: Listing members by trade
and/or service. The directory is distributed to all members, architects, engineers,
planners, suppliers, developers, building officials, designers, general contractors, Bend
Chamber of Commerce, Deschutes County Public Library System, and other interested
organizations.
